Hey there people, I just wanted to update my journal since I couldn't update it yesterday.

As most of you may know, I went to see Green Day on Tuesday. I took Matt with me and we had a really good time. We were pretty far from the stage, but we had a really good view of everything that took place on stage. The Bravery performed as the opening band, but no one really cared about them, you know who everyone came to see. =D In the middle of their performance, they did a cover of a Green Day song called "Who Wrote Holden Caulfield" which was pretty nice. After they did their stuff, they got their asses off the stage. Someone in a rabbit costume then came on the stage and stumbled about and danced to a Michael Jackson song. Then he got off the stage and the arena darkened, the show was about to start. "Song of the Century" started playing and everyone stood right up and started singing the song as if we were saying our own little "Pledge of Allegence." Then they went into "21st Century Breakdown" and the concert was underway. People were singing along to every song, including myself, I sang along to every fucking song they played that night. Before they played "East Jesus Nowhere" Billie brought up a kid from the audience to be "saved" and then shooed him off the stage, it was funny. In the middle of "Hitchin' a Ride" Billie started "coughing" because of "weed". He brought some dude up on stage to sing "Longview," he sang so bad that people were booing him and Billie booted his ass off the stage and brought some girl up to sing the rest of the song, she didn't do any better than the other guy. After she finished singing the song, Billie had her do a stage dive. She jumped off and Billie told the boys in the crowd to watch where they put their hands on her. :XD: At the end of "American Eulogy," it seemed like the show was done.....but not just yet! Green Day ran back onstage and started playing "American Idiot" and everyone in the arena went wild! Billie then pulled up some kid to play "Jesus of Suburbia," he assured the kid that there was no pressure and said "If you fuck up, everyone here is gonna come on the stage and kick your ass." Don't worry, no one kicked the kid's ass, he played the song really well. :XD: After they played "Minority" everything started to wind down when Billie played "Macy's Day Parade" on his accoustic guitar and then brought everything to a close with "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)."

I'll never forget the fun I had there that night for as long as I live. One thing is for sure, I will be in the mosh pit if I go see them again! I even bought some t-shirts as a little something to remember my time there. =D Now I can't wait for the next time I go see them, woot!

Well that's my little story, hope you enjoyed it. I shall see you all later.

p.s. If I could have gotten up there to sing "Longview," I would have sang so good that Billie Joe would shit himself!

Yeah, I seriously look like that. :XD:

I guess I could tell you a little bit about myself. :paranoid:

I was born in a small log cabin during the winter of 1612-NO, not really. :XD:

Okay, I'll tell you, FOR REAL THIS TIME. :lmao: My life started in a somewhat bad neighborhood in southwest Detroit, then I moved my ass to the middle of nowhere....Lapeer, Michigan: the redneck capital of the whole damn state, not to mention B-O-R-I-N-G. :XD:

Well I guess it's not a complete waste here. I did get to meet new friends, some became my best friends, I got a boyfriend, and got introduced to this little website here, deviantART. This is where things get really crazy. :XD: I get to talk with the people I know in my town, and I met some of the best and craziest people here. :XD:

My interests? Isn't it obvious? Look at my damn profile! There's so much Green Day that any sane person would run in terror! :psychotic: Dislikes? Too many to count, but I'll share a few: Slow drivers, days where it gets windy when it's already freezing balls outside, people who think they're better than others just because they wear their preppy bullshit and have fancy cars :bleh:, blisters from new shoes, and blah blah blah blah. :XD: (has too many issues, lol)

Yup, that's just a bit of what I'm about...and stuff. Hope I didn't bore you to death with my life story. :XD:
